the only thing i can think of m8 it thats its summat to do with game?

the only advice i can give ya is to do a total uninstall and reinstall game without patching it up..... then try a play a single player game if that works install the first patch and try play single game again so on so on and so on that way u might find out which patch if any patches are causing u any problems it that dont work sorry i aint got a clue after that

2 things i noticed
1 refresh rate on ya monitor set on 60 hz up it to 85 hz if ya screen is just going black this could be your problem
2 sound device drivers 2004 look for some updaded one's

also m8 256 memery its going struggle or is this your gaf card mem

its me graphix card mem m8 ill send the info to ya l8ter if u want to look at

As i said before i had this prob and it was down to gaf, once updated drivers n fiddled about the prob disappeared.

_N m8, Dont flash the bios there is no need.

I cant see how all of a sudden the pc stops working. before you reformated it did you try a roll back ?

Get the mobo drivers from gigabyte and the drivers for nvidia.

The system should work prefectly well with them, thats how I had it set.

I spent some time setting it up so it ran a smoothly as possible before I decided to upgrade.

When setting the graphics, set it to default medium, turn off dynamic lights and shadows and increase the screen resolution, and refresh. I had it set to 1028 by somthing @ 75hz, but just try afew (not the maximum)
